Gears

These are photos of all that is left of the Geneva Mill which burned down in the 60s.  The town made its fortune from this mill, and the Fox River, starting in the 1840s and 50s.  One night it burned down and my family there told me of being bundled up in the middle of the night and taken down to the river to watch the fire.  These gears are all that is left and are a monument on the site of the mill at the river's edge
